Evanovich and Goldberg bring us another hilarious page turner in "The Scam" out September 2015

Description
Nicolas Fox is a charming con man and master thief on the run. Kate O’Hare is the FBI agent who is hot on his trail. At least that’s what everyone thinks. In reality, Fox and O’Hare are secretly working together to bring down super-criminals the law can’t touch. Criminals like brutal casino magnate Evan Trace.

Evan Trace is running a money-laundering operation through his casino in Macau. Some of his best customers are mobsters, dictators, and global terrorists. Nick and Kate will have to go deep undercover as high-stakes gamblers, wagering millions of dollars—and their lives—in an attempt to topple Trace’s empire.

It’s a scam that will take Fox and O’Hare from the Las Vegas strip, to the sun-soaked beaches of Oahu’s North Shore, and into the dark back alleys of Macau. Their only backup—a self-absorbed actor, a Somali pirate, and Kate’s father, an ex-soldier who believes a rocket launcher is the best way to solve every problem. What could possibly go wrong?

Everything, of course. With the hilarious feel of the Stephanie Plum novels, Evanovich and Goldberg seriously deliver on this series. I have enjoyed every minute of them.

Kat and Nick are out to take down Evan Trace, a casino owner allowing bad guys to launder dirty money through his casinos. In the midst of it, Kate's dad has a friend in Hawaii who is butting heads with a Hawaiian mobster. They have a brilliant plan to involve the mobster in their plot to take down Trace, that way everything gets done at once. They bring their team back to help them out, after Nick poses as a lawyer to get Willie out of a stealing a bus charge. Then the action happens....

Every turn of the page makes you laugh until you run out of breath! Great series!

Linda Lael Miller brings us Christmas in Mustang Creek

Description:
Charlotte Morgan grew up in Mustang Creek, Wyoming, and couldn't wait to escape to the big city. But life in New York isn't as fabulous as she'd like to admit—she's lonely, doing a job she doesn't love and dating too many frogs she meets online.

There was one potential prince, though—Jaxon Locke, a veterinarian with definite possibilities—but his move to Idaho to fill in at his dad's vet practice ended things just as they were getting interesting. What Charlotte doesn't know is that he misses her, more than he expected…

Meanwhile, Charlotte's great-aunt Geneva—the woman who raised her—needs to enter an assisted-living facility. So, just before Christmas, Charlotte moves back home. When Jax catches wind of her move back West, he's determined to get to Wyoming and do whatever it takes to win her back.

Christmas in Mustang Creek is a magical time in a magical place, not least because of a mysterious visitor named Mrs. Klozz. She knows that love is the greatest gift of all, and she's ready to help out Santa by giving these two a push in the right direction!

Charlotte and Jaxon had a relationship previously, but Charlotte believed they wanted different things. She loved the big city and Jaxon longed for the quiet of the country. When Charlotte loses her job, she decides to head home to Mustang Creek, where she grew up with her aunt Geneva. Geneva has early stages dementia and decided it would be best to move to a home. What Charlotte doesn't know is that Jaxon remembers how much she talked about her hometown. When a college buddy asks Jaxon to join his practice, low and behold it is in Mustang Creek. Jaxon can only hope that he runs into Charlotte and makes her realize that she is wrong and they definitely belong together.

A friend of Geneva's has been staying at her house and becomines Mrs Matchmaker, Mrs Klozz asks Jaxon to stay at the house, saying they could use a man around to help them out. Charlotte has no clue how to really take this. Mrs Klozz seems to barrel over everything. But with the way the woman cooks, who can say no?!

Then the idea forms to make Geneva's house into a bed and breakfast. Charlotte knows nothing about running a bed and breakfast but she just can't seem to get the idea out of her head. Not knowing what her future holds keeps her from making a commitment to Jaxon, but Christmas miracles are happening in Mustang Creek...

Fantastic, as usual. Ms Miller has given us a wonderful Christmas read that is, as always, so very feel good. I set the book down and definitely felt lighter.

Return to Fool's Gold in an all new Christmas novel

Description:
To bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug, organizing a Christmas wedding sounds like a joy—until she finds out she'll be working closely with the gorgeous brother of the bride, movie star Jonny Blaze. How will a small-town girl like her keep from falling for the world's sexiest guy? Especially with mistletoe lurking around every corner!

Jonny came to Fool's Gold looking for normal, not for love. Happily-ever-after only happens in the movies. Still, nothing about this quirky town is quite what he expected, and "ordinary" Madeline is the most extraordinary woman he's ever met. Refreshingly honest, disarmingly sweet. Achingly beautiful.

Planning the perfect wedding leads to candlelit dinners and strolls through snow-covered streets. And Madeline finds Jonny in real life even more captivating than her celebrity crush. But will the action star be brave enough to risk his heart and step into the role of a lifetime?

Ms Mallery scores again with an all new Fool's Gold Christmas novel. Madeline has a huge crush on movie star Johnny Blaze. So much so that she can't form two words around him. When Mayor Marsha and Dellina come asking for help to organize Jonny's sisters wedding, Madeline isn't so sure about being able to communicate with him without fangirling. She is pretty surprised to learn is he is just a regular guy who loves his sister so much that he goes way over the top for the wedding. Madeline is mostly able to contain him, though. She also can't help falling for him.  But she's as mall town girl working in a bridal shop, certainly not good enough for THE Jonny Blaze.

Jonny wanted respite from the crazy life of an actor, which is why he chose Fool's Gold to make his home. He didn't expect for the town to accept him as he is, a real person, instead of a famous movie star. They protect him from crazed fans and invite him to dinner. He falls in love with the town. Meeting Madeline as she helps with Ginger's wedding is definitely a plus. She's down to earth and funny and beautiful.  She's everything he wants, but past loss keeps him from claiming her as his.

A very snow storm and a wedding bring these two together. And as we are in Fool's Gold, we know we will have a happy ending :) Ms Mallery brings us another fantastic love tale. I love her writing. It's an easy read, nothing I have to think hard about. It's a great story, keeping me interested all the way through it. She has amazing characters. And now I have to wait months for another return to Fool's Gold. NetGalley, I love you for letting me have these early but I hate you as well because its a much longer wait! LOL!

The Argeaneau family returns with About a Vampire!

With Immortal good looks and scorching charisma, Justin Bricker has yet to meet a woman he can’t win over. His potential life mate should be no different. But instead of falling into his bed, Holly Bosley runs away and ends up mortally wounded. To save her, he has to turn her. And then Bricker learns the shocking truth: Holly’s already married.

Holly wakes up with a bump on her head, a craving for blood, and a sexy stranger who insists they belong together. She needs Bricker’s help to control her new abilities, even as she tries to resist his relentless seduction. Choosing between the world she knows and the eternity he offers is impossible. But Justin is fighting for his life mate—maybe even his life—and he’ll break every rule to do it…

When Holly went back to work late at night to get her test meter to check her blood sugar, she had no clue she would leave dead. Well, immortal. After a creepy trek through the cemetery to deliver missing paperwork to the crematorium, Holly witnesses something she couldn't believe. She takes off running, is chased, trips, and stabs herself to death with a pair of scissors. Justin Bricker knew the second he took off after her that she was his life mate, at least potentially his lifemate. He uses his one turn to save her life.

Holly wakes up in a strange bed with strange people. Bricker tries to explain immortals to her, but of course she thinks he's crazy!  Finally they convince her about it and take her to train her to hold her blood lust and use her abilities. Justin can't wait to begin his new life with Holly. Just one teeny problem Holly is married. Holly knows that there's something with Bricker, but she is determined to keep to her marriage vows. She won't betray her husband.

Okay, this book was so funny in so many different ways. This series usually has alot of humor, which is why I like it so much. Even after so many books, I love this series. It just keeps getting better and better. And I love it when Lucien shows up, all bad ass and glowering and stuff. And his wife puts him in his place.

Really if you haven't read this series yet, you are seriously missing out, and if you have read them, just keep going! They are always worth it. Just a nice relaxing read :)
