Eve and Roarke are back with a new novel, Obsession in Death by JD Robb

Description:
Eve Dallas has solved a lot of high-profile murders for the NYPSD and gotten a lot of media. She—and her billionaire husband—are getting accustomed to being objects of attention, of gossip, of speculation.

But now Eve has become the object of one person’s obsession. Someone who finds her extraordinary, and thinks about her every hour of every day. Who believes the two of them have a special relationship. Who would kill for her—again and again…

With a murderer reading meanings into her every move, handling this case will be a delicate—and dangerous—psychological dance. And Eve knows that underneath the worship and admiration, a terrible threat lies in wait. Because the beautiful lieutenant is not at all grateful for these bloody offerings from her “true and loyal friend.” And in time, idols always fall…

A murder of a defense attorney, with a message left for Eve.. the murder committed for Eve by someone claiming to be her "True and Loyal Friend". Another murder happens, and another is botched. Knowing that eventually this person is going to get ticked off that Eve doesn't see them in the same fashion, and knowing they will go after Eve's friends. This is one of the best in Death books I have ever read! Ms Robb.. or as others know her Nora Roberts, really needs no explanation about her books. They are always a great read, and this one, certainly, is one of the best!

The Marriage Pact series by Linda Lael Miller continues with "The Marriage Charm"

******Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of this title******
Description:
The women of Bliss County have a pact—to find husbands. The right husbands.

One already has: Hadleigh Stevens, who married rancher Tripp Galloway a few months ago. Now Melody Nolan thinks it's her turn. Melody has recently found success as a jewelry designer, and her work is the focus of her life. She's not exactly unhappy, but she wants more. She's always been attracted to Spence Hogan, the local chief of police, but she's convinced that Spence, a notorious charmer, isn't what you'd call husband material.

Spence is a good cop who isn't scared of anything—except love. And he's done everything he can to preserve his reputation as a womanizer—a reputation that keeps marriage-minded women, including Melody, at bay. And yet…there's something about Melody he can't forget. Something his heart can't ignore.

Melody is excited for her friend but no way, no how is she getting involved with Spence Hogan again. He broke her heart once before and it is absolutely not going to happen again. Spence knew back then that Melody wasn't ready for love and marriage. But its been ten years and he knows they are both ready, but he has to get Melody to trust him again. A rash of break ins in the town and a cowgirl trail ride bring them together and Melody tries her best to resist Spence.. it doesn't work very well.

I was kind of iffy about the the first book in this series, but I liked it and I enjoyed this one even more. Ms Miller never fails to provide us with a great, sweet, love story. :)

Emily March returns with a fabulous new Angels Rest book "Teardrop Lane"

********Thank you Edelweiss for an advanced copy of this title*******
Description:
Temperamental glass artist Hunt Cicero’s world is upended when a tragic accident leaves his sister’s three young children orphaned and in his care. When the youngsters, who lived in the mountains of Wyoming, fail to thrive on his Caribbean island home, he takes the advice of friend and student, Gabi Romano, and moves his brokenhearted new family to the place that promises healing—Eternity Springs. There, the town’s infinitely patient physician, Rose Anderson, provides a welcome buffer between the frustrated man and his wounded—but spirited—charges. After cancer treatment had destroyed her ability to have children of her own, Rose had buried her maternal instincts, but these three precious children and their irascible gorgeous uncle brings it roaring back. Together, they learn that the best medicine of all is love.

We met Hunt in the last book, Gabi's mentor. Gabi approached Hunt with an idea to open up a glass shop in Eternity Springs for the tourist trade. Hunt thinks its a good idea, especially because his sister passed away and he is trying to pay off her medical bills and also help out the family who took her children in. He needs the money. But after a couple run ins with Rose, he's pretty hooked, even if he doesn't want a relationship.

The family who took the kids in, his sister's real brother (Hunt was just a foster brother) decide that they are unable to care for the children because they are expecting one of their one, Hunt steps up and takes the kids, even if he has no clue what he is doing. Rose and all of Eternity Springs step in to help him. After the way he grew up, Hunt is taken aback by the support from the town. But Rose had a disastrous first marriage and Hunt doesn't even believe in happy ever after, can these two get past their differences to find their way to each other?

So, Absolutely anything Emily March writes is going to end up being a heart warming, beautiful read. Every single one of her books had left me feeling happy. This one is no different. I'm not going to gush on and on about it, I'm just going to say ... go read the book!

Victoria Aveyard's debut novel "The Red Queen" is awesome for readers of Hunger Games and Graceling

*******************Thank you Edelweiss for a review copy of this title!**************
Description from Amazon.com:

Mare Barrow's world is divided by blood—those with red and those with silver. Mare and her family are lowly Reds, destined to serve the Silver elite whose supernatural abilities make them nearly gods. Mare steals what she can to help her family survive, but when her best friend is conscripted into the army she gambles everything to win his freedom. A twist of fate leads her to the royal palace itself, where, in front of the king and all his nobles, she discovers a power of her own—an ability she didn't know she had. Except . . . her blood is Red.
To hide this impossibility, the king forces her into the role of a lost Silver princess and betroths her to one of his own sons. As Mare is drawn further into the Silver world, she risks her new position to aid the Scarlet Guard—the leaders of a Red rebellion. Her actions put into motion a deadly and violent dance, pitting prince against prince—and Mare against her own heart.
From debut author Victoria Aveyard comes a lush, vivid fantasy series where loyalty and desire can tear you apart and the only certainty is betrayal.

Holy. Cow. So, if you like.. Hunger Games.. Throne of Glass.. Graceling.. this is a book for you. I absolutely loved this book. Reds are pretty much slaves while Silvers are royalty. Reds bleed red and do all the grunt work while Silvers bleed silver and have magic.

Mare is taken on as a maid but during a Kings banquet, she unleashes a magic power that she shouldn't have. She is a red, and red's don't have magic. The King and Queen force her into being a "Silver Princess" a long lost silver lady to hide the fact that she is a red with power. She is also betrothed to the King's younger son.

She knows that everything is just wrong. She meets with the rebels and comes up with a plan to try to help the Reds. In the meantime she trains to be a lady and trains to use her magic. She has to master it or she will end up dying in the training ring. If anyone sees her Red blood, chaos will happen.
This book was absolutely awesome. I haven't read a book this good in awhile! And oh my gosh, there is such betrayal at the end! I'm going to go nuts waiting on a second book, and this book isn't even out yet! I won't elaborate more on this, just go read it !
