Julie Kagawa and the dragons are back!

Thank you NetGalley for an Advanced copy of this title!

Description:
Ember Hill left the dragon organization Talon to take her chances with rebel dragon Cobalt and his crew of rogues. But Ember can't forget the sacrifice made for her by the human boy who could have killed her—Garret Xavier Sebastian, a soldier of the dragonslaying Order of St. George, the boy who saved her from a Talon assassin, knowing that by doing so, he'd signed his own death warrant.

Determined to save Garret from execution, Ember must convince Cobalt to help her break into the Order's headquarters. With assassins after them and Ember's own brother helping Talon with the hunt, the rogues find an unexpected ally in Garret and a new perspective on the underground battle between Talon and St. George.

A reckoning is brewing and the secrets hidden by both sides are shocking and deadly. Soon Ember must decide: Should she retreat to fight another day…or start an all-out war?

Garret allowed Ember and Riley to escape at the end of Talon, giving himself up to St George in the process. He is tried and scheduled for execution. Ember absolutely will not settle for Garrett giving himself up like that so Ember and Riley, with the help of human hacker Wes, break into St George and rescue Garret before he is executed.

Dante believes in Talon and thinks the right thing to do is bring Ember back into the fold and make her realize that Talon is awesome. Ember knows otherwise. She went rogue because she refused to become a Viper. An assassin. That is certainly not what she wants to do with her life!

They run to Vegas. Hiding in plain sight, the try to rescue two hatchlings who turn out to be Talon operatives. Its a race to escape and in the mean time, Ember is torn between the human Garret and the dragon Riley.

Julie Kagawa has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I loved the Iron Fey and I loved the Call of the Forgotten.. (Fangirl moment, we are getting more Ethan later this year!) And when I found out she was going to be writing about dragons, I danced. Because I am completely obsessed with dragons. And I totally adore this series. It's well written, I love the characters, and I love the story itself. Ms Kagawa writes a story that pulls us in and doesn't let us go.
Well, Happy Reading Everyone!
