The Shadows are back with the Black Dagger Brotherhood in an all new JR Ward book

Two brothers bound by more than blood fight to change a brutal destiny in the heart-wrenching new novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. R. Ward.
Trez “Latimer” doesn’t really exist.  And not just because the identity was created so that a Shadow could function in the underbelly of the human world.  Sold by his parents to the Queen of the S’Hsibe as a child, Trez escaped the Territory and has been a pimp and an enforcer in Caldwell, NY for years- all the while on the run from a destiny of sexual servitude.  He’s never had anyone he could totally rely on... except for his brother, iAm.
iAm’s sole goal has always been to keep his brother from self-destructing- and he knows he’s failed.  It’s not until the Chosen Serena enters Trez’s life that the male begins to turn things around... but by then it’s too late.  The pledge to mate the Queen’s daughter comes due and there is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no negotiating.
Trapped between his heart and a fate he never volunteered for, Trez must decide whether to endanger himself and others- or forever leave behind the female he’s in love with.  But then an unimaginable tragedy strikes and changes everything.  Staring out over an emotional abyss, Trez must find a reason to go on or risk losing himself and his soul forever.  And iAm, in the name of brotherly love, is faced with making the ultimate sacrifice..

This book really needs to description from me. Fans of The BDB and Ms Ward will love it as much as I did. My only issue is that lately Ms Ward has had so many different story lines going in one book that I get mixed up.

The BDB series has been one of my favorite series for the last decade. I was so excited when I learned last year that the Shadows were getting their own book. But when I put the book down.. I pretty much threw a temper tantrum. Where the book is EXTREMELY good.. I just didn't like the ending!

Sharon Sala is back with the first book in her new Secrets & Lies trilogy!

Dallas Phillips refuses to believe her father committed suicide, even though things were tough on his farm and he was deeply in debt. When she hears he'd told a neighbor about an upcoming windfall, she grows suspicious, and her suspicion only deepens when she realizes someone is lurking in the nearby mountains after dark.

For help, she turns to Trey Jakes, local police chief—and her former lover. As they begin to investigate, another mystery comes to light. Trey's mother is beginning to remember events from thirty years ago, something shadowy that happened in the mountains, and Dallas's father was there, too. Is what happened that night connected to his "suicide"? As they search for the truth, Trey and Dallas struggle to fight their attraction, but they may not be able to fend off another force—a killer who's more than willing to kill again to make sure old secrets stay buried.

*dance and shimmy* A new Sharon Sala book!! NetGalley is so awesome! YES!! I absolutely adore these romantic suspense trilogies Ms Sala has been putting out ever year!

Dallas Phillips left home because she wanted bright lights and fame. Now she returns home to her fathers farm after he was found dead, hanging in his barn. Dallas absolutely does not believe it was suicide, and pretty soon evidence shows she was right.
Trey Jakes has loved Dallas all his life and was heart broken when she left. Now she's back and he is determined not to let her go again.
Sinister forces are about... Dallas' father and Trey's mom witnessed some sort of crime when they were teenagers, but they were drunk and when the ran, their car crashed. Neither they nor their other friend who was a passenger remember anything about it. Dallas' father was certainly killed because of that.
Dallas found out that her father believed he was about to come into some money. Between proving her father didn't commit suicide, being attacked by a feral fighting dog, and a couple of men on the mountain after her for shooting the dog, Dallas has ALOT to contend with. Can Trey help her through it all and to realize she belongs with him?

Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series comes to an end with "Deep"

**************Thank You NetGalley for an Advanced Copy of this Title*******
Their one night stand wasn’t supposed to end this way…Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the devastatingly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man who’s ever made her feel out of control with desire? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister, and no matter how hot the chemistry between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben has a moment of weakness in Sin City, he learns that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible...but will it lead to a true connection of the heart?

Ben had sworn to stay away from Lizzy, but something just kept drawing him to her. He tried to just be friends, but Lizzy wouldn't give up and eventually he had to give in. With Mal wanting to take his head off and the band starting a huge tour, Ben has to figure out what is right for him and Lizzy and Bean (Lizzy's name for the baby in utero).

Lizzy knows that she should just get on with her life, but there's something about Ben. He makes her heart pitter patter and her girly parts swoon. Even when they first starting talking, all through text, she just couldn't help her crush on him.

Ben knows he certainly isn't the right person for Lizzy. He's not the right person for anyone. But he just can't seem to give her up, but he also can't stop messing things up.

I'm horrible at book descriptions.. Stage Dive isn't my normal type of book. New Adult Romance.. I've never really gotten into it, but what grabbed me about Stage Dive.. well my friend told me about the hot tattooed guys.. I love tattoos! lol. The series really grabbed me, though, and it was just fantastic! I can't wait to see what Ms Scott brings to us next!

Charles and Anna return in a new Alpha and Omega book, "Dead Heat" is out March 3, 2015

For once, mated werewolves Charles and Anna are not traveling because of Charles’s role as his father’s enforcer. This time, their trip to Arizona is purely personal--or at least it starts out that way...
Charles and Anna soon discover that a dangerous Fae being is on the loose, replacing human children with simulacrums. The Fae’s cold war with humanity is about to heat up—and Charles and Anna are in the cross fire.

Charles and Anna travel to Arizona for two things: to find Anna a new horse and for Charles to see longtime friend Joseph Sani. They do not expect to run into trouble investigating a problem with a fae. Josephs daughter in law is attacked by a fae, a curse put on her to kill her children and herself. Charles and Anna help to stop it, but upon investigating, find out there is a child missing, and a changeling left in her place. Now its a race against the clock to try and find the child, who has been missing for months.
Wowee! Well, of course Ms Briggs does not disappoint us with this new novel. There are a lot of little plots going on in this one. Anna wants a child but Charles is wary. Finding Anna a new horse. Finding the fae and the missing child. Maggie's cool attitude towards Anna. Joseph is dying and refuses to become werewolf to please his father (who is a werewolf). Teaching Courtney about being a werewolf. But it all ties in together very nicely. And.. a whole year wait for the next book! *sigh*
Happy Reading Folks!

Sanctuary Cover series by Lily Everett

I received a title from NetGalley by Lily Everett called "Heartbreak Cove"... I started reading, really liked it.. Oops! Its number three! So what did I do, went out and got books one and two! I am so incredibly glad I did!

Sanctuary Island is a place of love, laughter, healing, and forgiveness. The wild horses running around the island give the people a sense of wonderment and they are fiercely protective of them, and of each other.

Sanctuary Cove is book one brings us to Ella and Merry Preston. Years ago, their father took them from their alcoholic mother. Emotionally distant, Ella learned to take care of Merry on her own. And years later, Ella is still trying her best to take care of Merry. Extremely pregnant Merry has decided that it is time to meet and make up with her mother. Ella doesn't really want anything to do with it, but she wants to support her sister so she agrees to go with her to Sanctuary Island. Then she meets Grady, a rough handyman who makes her heart skip a beat. But Ella finds out her mom is in a tough spot and about to lose the family home and stables, she thinks of a plan to get Merry to leave but also to save her the house and land.

Shoreline Drive is book 2 and is about Merry and the good vet Doc Ben. Ben helped in the delivery of Merry's son during a horrible storm. Ben is quite attached to Alex, and to Merry as well. He proposes a marriage of convenience, hoping that Merry will learn to love him. But his parents scheme to break them up, stooping to finding Merry's son's father.

Heartbreak Cove is book three and it just released this week. Sheriff Andie has butted heads with Sam Buchanan before, but his gruff manner sneaks past her defenses. Her brother's daughter, one she didn't know existed, is thrust on her when the girl's mother dies and Owen is overseas with the Army Rangers. The girl is very wary of Andie, its obvious her mother didn't care for her as she should. Caitlin gets attached to Sam and to Queenie, the horse he rescued and is trying to save. The past always comes to haunt though, when Sam's past catches up to him.

This series is perfect for fans of Susan Mallery and Robyn Carr. I loved them!
