The Others return in a new Anne Bishop novel, "Vision in Silver"

*******Thank You NetGalley for an Advanced copy of this title*******

Description:
The Others freed the cassandra sangue to protect the blood prophets from exploitation, not realizing their actions would have dire consequences. Now the fragile seers are in greater danger than ever before—both from their own weaknesses and from those who seek to control their divinations for wicked purposes. In desperate need of answers, Simon Wolfgard, a shape-shifter leader among the Others, has no choice but to enlist blood prophet Meg Corbyn’s help, regardless of the risks she faces by aiding him.

Meg is still deep in the throes of her addiction to the euphoria she feels when she cuts and speaks prophecy. She knows each slice of her blade tempts death. But Others and humans alike need answers, and her visions may be Simon’s only hope of ending the conflict.

For the shadows of war are deepening across the Atlantik, and the prejudice of a fanatic faction is threatening to bring the battle right to Meg and Simon’s doorstep…

The plot line gets better and better as the Others see how important the cassandra sangue are, and are still trying to rescue girls that are on breeding farms, thanks to a vision by Meg. Meg is doing her best to do controlled cuts, but sometimes there's no helping what will happen. But the HFL are doing their best to go to war against the Others, a war they cannot win.  Friends of the Others are being cast out of their homes, not allowed to shop at businesses. Companies are not sending promised goods to the Courtyards, or sending low grade goods.
Meg is trying to help the cassandra sangue by figured out what triggers may be harming them. It seems as if they cannot handle civilian life. Meg and her friends help her start a "How to" book to help the girls.

This series has been great from the first book! And.. its a year before the next. *sigh* I think this series is great for fans of Anne Bishop and maybe even Jim Butcher.

The Argeneuas return in "The Immortal Who Loved Me"

********Thank you Edelweiss for an advanced copy of this title*********

Description:
A few hours ago, Sherry Carne would have sworn that vampires didn’t exist. That’s before rogue immortals rampage through her store, leaving bloody chaos (literally) in their wake. The kicker comes when Sherry learns that one of the vamps on the bad guys’ trail may be her life mate. Her head says it’s impossible. The rest of her takes one look at Basileios Argeneau, and has much more interesting ideas.

Whatever Basil expected in a life mate, funny, outspoken Sherry isn’t it. But mind-blowing chemistry and instinct don’t lie. They tell him something else too—that Sherry’s connection to the immortal world goes deeper than she knows. And that she’s in the kind of danger only Basil can save her from—if she’ll just trust him, now and forever . .

When a young lady breezes through her store and into her office telling her to hide, Sherry finds out that vampires DO exit. No Fanger vamps are after them and they have to run to find help. They are rescued and taken to the safe house.. And Sherry learns that she is a possible life mate to Basil.. Sherry takes all of this amazingly well, until the no fanger starts to try to take her. She also finds out that she has been spending alot of time with an immortal, she has built in shields to keep other vamps from reading or controlling her. She has no clue who it may be, but its causing just as much a problem for her as the no fangers.

Now, we all know this is going to have a happy ending, as Ms Sands wouldn't do that to us! This has been a fantastic series from the beginning. I have enjoyed each and every one of them! They have given me much joy with their humor. I am thankful whenever a new book comes out! And that Edelweiss has been consistently allowing me to have an advanced copy! :) So go forth and read, my friends, because this one is just as awesome as all the others!

Susan Mallery returns with a new series, starting with the "Girls of Mischief Bay"

***************Thank You NetGalley for an advanced copy of this title***********

Description:
Nicole Lord wants to be a good wife, but there's a difference between being supportive and supporting her husband, who quit his job to write a screenplay she's never seen. He won't even help take care of their son, leaving Nicole to run the house and work full-time.

Sacrificing a personal life for her career is how Shannon Rigg became VP at her firm, but she wonders now whether she made the right choice. An exciting new relationship with a great guy convinces her that it might not be too late—until he drops a bombshell that has her questioning whether she really can have it all.

Although Pam Eiland adores her husband, she feels restless now that the kids are grown. Finding sexy new ways to surprise him brings the heat and humor back to their marriage, but when unexpected change turns her life upside down, she'll have to redefine herself. Again.

Through romance and heartbreak, laughter and tears, the girls of Mischief Bay will discover that life is richer with friends at your side.

Ms Mallery sent us on a journey with the Blackberry Island series. They are so totally different than what we are used to her writing. We love her contemporary romance; those Fools Gold books just worm their way into our hearts. I don't usually read what I would call "women's fiction" and this is exactly what we have with Blackberry Island and Mischief Bay. However, no matter what Ms Mallery writes, she never fails to write something beautiful.

Nicole's husband quit his job a year ago, without discussing it with her first, to write a screen play. Its apparently been his dream, but when his attention to family and house drops to nil, Nicole knows something has to change. She runs an exercise studio and has a five year old son.  She is run pretty ragged working 60 hour weeks and taking care of her little one.

Pam and her husband have been married for thirty years, but she feels like the sizzle has gone out of their marriage.  She schedules a weekend away to see if they can find what was lost in their sex life.

Shannon has never been married and has no children but has an incredibly demanding job. But an off chance date with Adam definitely changes everything.

Three friends who help each other out through everything imaginable. These characters are likable and real. Ms Mallery has given us a story that feels completely real, as if you can step outside and find these three women. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the next !

Feb 2015 Jennifer Ryan's new Montana Men series starts with At Wolf Ranch

************Thank you Edelwiess for an advanced copy of this title*************

Description:
Ella witnesses her identical twin sister’s murder, though her uncle sets it up to look like she died. Knowing she’s next, she makes a run for it, grabbing her sister’s purse and suitcase, she assumes her sister’s identity and flies to Montana, the last place her sister went. She hopes to discover why her sister went to their Montana ranch - the place their parents died in a small plane crash when they were young teens. When she arrives, she discovers the ranch has been sold to the man who saved her from the side of the road in a snowstorm—Gavin McBride.

Gavin has invested every dime he has in the house and property next door. He’s got the seed money to buy his heard of cattle and really make a go of his ranch. Ella threatens everything, but he can’t help falling for the pampered, headstrong beauty. He wants her land. She wants her home. People are looking for her, her sister is dead, but he’s not convinced she’s the quiet, shy woman he met originally. No, she’s the socialite party girl, who’d never agree to a quiet ranch life with him. Still, he do everything possible to keep her safe and punish those responsible for her sister’s death, so that she gets her inheritance and the life she’s meant for. Unless he can convince her to make a life with him

Ella receives a strange phone call from her twin sister, Lela. She is arguing with their uncle. Ella runs home just in time to witness her uncle kill her sister. Right in front of her, the uncle and a police detective hatch a plan to blame it all on Ella. So she runs.
She takes off for Montana, to go to the Wolf Ranch, where she spent much time as a child before her parents died. Ella finds out her sister had just gone to Montana, and she is betting that the "evidence" Lela had on her uncle is hidden there.

After hitching a ride with the wrong sort, Ella is thrown out in the cold and is rescued by Gavin McBride. Gavin thinks she is Lela, and she doesn't correct him. Til he sees a news report about Lela being dead and Ella missing. Ella tells Gavin all about her uncle, and it comes to light that Gavin was completely screwed by Ella's uncle, he is determined to help Ella put him behind bars.

I really enjoyed this title. I liked Ella, although as an identical twin myself, I don't think I could stand it if my twin died like that. I would probably have to be institutionalized. Ella was a strong character, and Gavin was the perfect knight in shining armor. This is definitely worth the read, and I can't wait for future books in the series!

Robyn Carr and Thunder Point return with "One Wish February 2015

Grace Dillon was a champion figure skater until she moved to Thunder Point to escape the ruthless world of fame and competition. And though she's proud of the quiet, self-sufficient life she's created running a successful flower shop, she knows something is missing. Her life could use a little excitement.

In a community where there are few eligible singles, high school teacher Troy Headly appoints himself Grace's fun coach. When he suggests a little companionship with no strings attached, Grace is eager to take him up on his offer, and the two enjoy…getting to know each other.

Faced with losing her, Troy realizes Grace is more than just a friend with benefits. Grace has never had a real relationship. She grew up on the national ice skating circuit with a overbearing mother. She is afraid to let anyone know who she is because she was not portrayed as a great person by the media.

We met Troy in the previous book, he had dated Iris but it just didn't click. He's a high school teacher who enjoys outdoorsy type of stuff. He and Grace become friends and eventually more, but he knows she is hiding something, and even after finding out what it is (behind her back) he's willing to be there for her.

When her mother comes back into her life, Grace has hard decisions. Troy is there with her the whole way to help. But can Grace get over her past to go forward with her future?

Of course, its a love story by Robyn Carr!

Eve and Roarke are back with a new novel, Obsession in Death by JD Robb

Description:
Eve Dallas has solved a lot of high-profile murders for the NYPSD and gotten a lot of media. She—and her billionaire husband—are getting accustomed to being objects of attention, of gossip, of speculation.

But now Eve has become the object of one person’s obsession. Someone who finds her extraordinary, and thinks about her every hour of every day. Who believes the two of them have a special relationship. Who would kill for her—again and again…

With a murderer reading meanings into her every move, handling this case will be a delicate—and dangerous—psychological dance. And Eve knows that underneath the worship and admiration, a terrible threat lies in wait. Because the beautiful lieutenant is not at all grateful for these bloody offerings from her “true and loyal friend.” And in time, idols always fall…

A murder of a defense attorney, with a message left for Eve.. the murder committed for Eve by someone claiming to be her "True and Loyal Friend". Another murder happens, and another is botched. Knowing that eventually this person is going to get ticked off that Eve doesn't see them in the same fashion, and knowing they will go after Eve's friends. This is one of the best in Death books I have ever read! Ms Robb.. or as others know her Nora Roberts, really needs no explanation about her books. They are always a great read, and this one, certainly, is one of the best!

The Marriage Pact series by Linda Lael Miller continues with "The Marriage Charm"

******Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of this title******
Description:
The women of Bliss County have a pact—to find husbands. The right husbands.

One already has: Hadleigh Stevens, who married rancher Tripp Galloway a few months ago. Now Melody Nolan thinks it's her turn. Melody has recently found success as a jewelry designer, and her work is the focus of her life. She's not exactly unhappy, but she wants more. She's always been attracted to Spence Hogan, the local chief of police, but she's convinced that Spence, a notorious charmer, isn't what you'd call husband material.

Spence is a good cop who isn't scared of anything—except love. And he's done everything he can to preserve his reputation as a womanizer—a reputation that keeps marriage-minded women, including Melody, at bay. And yet…there's something about Melody he can't forget. Something his heart can't ignore.

Melody is excited for her friend but no way, no how is she getting involved with Spence Hogan again. He broke her heart once before and it is absolutely not going to happen again. Spence knew back then that Melody wasn't ready for love and marriage. But its been ten years and he knows they are both ready, but he has to get Melody to trust him again. A rash of break ins in the town and a cowgirl trail ride bring them together and Melody tries her best to resist Spence.. it doesn't work very well.

I was kind of iffy about the the first book in this series, but I liked it and I enjoyed this one even more. Ms Miller never fails to provide us with a great, sweet, love story. :)

So, Absolutely anything Emily March writes is going to end up being a heart warming, beautiful read. Every single one of her books had left me feeling happy. This one is no different. I'm not going to gush on and on about it, I'm just going to say ... go read the book!
