"The Promise" a new Thunder Point novel by Robyn Carr

**********Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of this title*******
Description:

Scott Grant has a bustling family practice in the small Oregon community of Thunder Point. The town and its people have embraced the widowed doctor and father of two, his children are thriving, and Scott knows it's time to move on from his loss. But as the town's only doctor, the dating pool is limited. That is, until a stunning physician's assistant applies for a job at his clinic.

Peyton Lacoumette considers herself entirely out of the dating scene. She's already been burned by a man with kids, and she's come to Thunder Point determined not to repeat past mistakes. When Scott offers her a job, at a much lower salary than she's used to, Peyton is surprisingly eager to accept…at least for now. She's willing to stay for a three-month trial period while she explores other options.

Scott and Peyton know the arrangement is temporary—it isn't enough time to build a real relationship, never mind anything with lasting commitment. But love can blossom faster than you think when the timing is right, and this short visit just might hold the promise of forever.

Peyton made a name for herself in the medical world as an awesome PA. Unfortunately she fell for her boss, an amazing cardiologist who lived only for his career. After trying to care for his hateful children and not getting any backup from Ted, she decided to leave her job and his home. It was time to find and reinvent herself. She bought a flashy little sedan and went for a drive. She ended up in Thunder Point, and accepted a temporary job at Scott's clinic until she decided what to do with herself. But Scott and his children worm their way into her good graces. Peyton is afraid that, like Ted, Scott will end up using her as a babysitting/chauffer service, but of course that is not who Scott is.
She knows instantly that Scott is different. But can she overcome her single father relationship fear to see who Scott really is?

When mayhem strikes with Ted's daughter, Peyton jets off to help and of course Scott has the wrong idea. Could it ruin them forever?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. After the craptastic start to the series, the last 3 books have been oh so much better! I liked Peyton alot, especially when she went to the farm and you saw interaction with her parents and siblings. It was really cool and really.. well. real. I am anxious to read the next one!

Beth Ciotta's Cupcake Lovers return with "In the Mood for Love"

***************Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book************
Description:
THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN A SURPRISE FLING…
Sugar Creek, Vermont, is a world away from Los Angeles for high-powered, media-obsessed Harper Day. When she took the job doing publicity for the Cupcake Lovers, she never expected to be won over by the town’s old-fashioned charms. But that was before she moved into the Victorian vacation home of her dreams and fell in with a man whose good looks and irresistible ways are anything but small-town…
IS FINDING TRUE AND LASTING LOVE.
Sam McCloud is a widowed father of two. He and bossy, big-city Harper appear to have nothing in common… though the attraction they feel toward one another cannot be denied. But will their romance last longer than the day’s headlines? There’s more to Harper than meets the eye, and as it turns out, she needs to get married—fast. Little does Harper know that family-man Sam will do whatever it takes to keep her in Sugar Creek—even if that means taking matters into his own hands. And never letting her go…in the fourth novel in the Cupcake Lovers series, In the Mood For Love.

Beth Ciotta has returned us to Sugar Creek and another tale from the Cupcake Lovers. Sam and Harper have had a secret affair going on for a little while, but when Harper loses her job and with that her workers visa, she has to come up with something to be able to stay in the US. Sam suggests getting married. Harper, at first not sure what to think, agrees. But she's afraid her past will catch up with her and ruin her chances at happiness.

We again to meet the awesome cast and crew of the Cupcake Lovers! Babies are on their way, Daisy is up to her usual tricks, but there is only one Cupcake Lovers meeting! But its okay, for recipes are in the back of the book! I love this series. Its just so.. happy! It makes me feel good. Thank you, Ms Ciotta, for everything you do for your fans!

Save the Date by Mary Kay Andrews is Fabulous!

Mary Kay Andrews never fails to serve us up with a great book! Her new one, Save the Date, is no different!

Description:
A savannah florist is about to score the wedding of a lifetime—one that will solidify her career as the go-to-girl for society nuptials. Ironically, Cara Kryzik doesn't believe in love, even though she creates beautiful flower arrangements to celebrate them. But when the bride goes missing and the wedding is in jeopardy, Cara must find the bride and figure out what she believes in.  Maybe love really does exist outside of fairy tales after all.

Cara recently gave her husband the boot when she found out he was cheating on her with a dental hygenist. She has a fabulous flower shop that is consistently building new clientele, but the shop itself needs so much work that she isn't getting ahead as she should.    When her goldendoodle, Poppy, runs off, she sees her being taken by a man. The man insists that it is his dog Shaz. Cara follows him home and even calls the police, who were no help. Cara storms home to come up with a new plan. Turns out, it was Poppy. Shaz had gotten loose and ended up at a vets office. The man, Jack, returns Poppy with some humility. Jack is rather attractive and Cara runs into him in other weddings that she works on.

Even though Cara's love life seems to be improving, her business life is heading out the window. Someone is out to take her down. Missing silver from one wedding, someone trash talking her business, especially after she books a really big wedding out from under another famous florist. Could anything else go wrong? Then her assistant quits.

This book was just awesome. I picked it up and couldn't put it down! I loved all of the characters and the story. And all the flowers! Ms Andrews has hit the nail on the head with this one. And I have to wait a whoooooole year for another -sniffle- !

City of Heavenly Fire Exceeds My Expectations! Thank you, Ms Clare!

Description:
Darkness has descended on the Shadowhunter world. Chaos and destruction overwhelm the Nephilim as Clary, Jace, Simon, and their friends band together to fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Clary’s own brother. Nothing in this world can defeat Sebastian—but if they journey to the realm of demons, they just might have a chance…

Lives will be lost, love sacrificed, and the whole world will change. Who will survive the explosive sixth and final installment of the Mortal Instruments series?

What a short and sweet, condensed description for a very large and in charge book. When you pick it up, gosh its HUGE!  Clary and Jace know that Sebastian isn't finished, not by a long shot. But the Council doesn't seem to believe them that its going to get worse. Until Sebastian starts attacking Institutes around the world and turning the Shadowhunters into the Endarkened.. Shadowhunters who no longer have a soul.

Jace and Clary know they have to do something, something drastic, to save the world. But do they have it in them to finish it? To kill Sebastian once and for all? They didn't think so, until Sebastian kidnaps the entire Downworlder delegation to Idris, which includes Magnus, Luke, and Clary's mother. The final straw pushed, Jace and Clary and their friends rush headlong into danger, but it doesn't matter. Its die trying or see the world end.

OMG , So let me just say that I think Ms Clare did a fantastic job concluding this series and with the prep for the next series, The Dark Artifices. I absolutely couldn't put this book down. It was fast and furious all the way through. And it pains me not to have ANYONE to talk to about it, at least for several days! So Go Forth And READ!! QUICKLY!
